Crich and Wingfield Manor

 Wet and miserable Friday afternoon had a ride out up to Crich found a nice little farm up there the farmer was a friend of my family we had a chat and so got another farm for my wild life photos ,

 Had a walk over is land to a spot i saw some weeks ago i always fancied great place nice location

Got some great views from up there ,Crich stand

Another view of Crich Stand from another position, had a chat with this farmer who owns the field ,another farmer letting me use is land for wild life photos 

 Then it was of to a session at Wingfield Manor a place i had seen last week from  place i had found to take this great building

 Must visit this place again through the seasons for some more photos 

   and all on my doorstep what more could you want

Out and about ,Ashbourne , Ripley

Went shopping this morning up to Ashbourne so put the set up in the car thinking i know a few places on the way for a couple of photos

On the way to Ashbourne ,Cross o the hands nr Turnditch over looking Alport Heights, This was the only shot i took

Spur of the moment decision later on in the afternoon

Sat looking at the sky and thought lets go i knew a spot for a great sunset if i was lucky 

 

 And yes it worked out just right Butterley res ,what a sky

A very cold afternoon at Alport heights

Looked out at the sky this afternoon and thought go for it ,So in the car with the gear and well wrapped up,

 And off to Alport Heights cold wasn't the word boy was it cold in fact i did some long exposure photos and while the camera was in the bulb mode i had to run round to keep warm

After two weeks played up with a virus i was glad to be able to get out with the camera , So Tuesday morning it was of out down to the Peckwash weir  at Duffield on the river Derwent
