out and about , ripley &Belper

its been some time since i last did my blog so here goes 

 Had a run out to Belper river gardens to see the Peregrines , just one and it didn't want to plat today
clear  off im not playing today
so i went down to the river front for some fun with the gulls
They didn't want to play either 
looks like every one wanted a quite morning
so a photo of a butter fly and went for a coffee at the snack cabin in the mill yard which i can recomend , a nice sausage cob and a coffee ,if your ever down there call in great service and food 
 then it was a ride uptown Butterly res 
 but not before a photo of Heage windmill
bit quite up here as well

a week end down William Shakespeares country 

Fist stop was Warick for a few hours
St Marys church 




Then it was a walk down to the castle
only a quick visit as we had Murphy with us and no dogs where allowed ,so back up into the town for a coffee 

some great buildings

That was us done back to the lodge ,and a bit of wild life


Next day stratford to see william
Here is the bard himself 



a great bit of music ,i even bought is cd 
and this young lad what a voice  opera great to listen to 
even the boats where named after will shakespeare's characters

Canal boats went through here on there way 
so that was a mother afternoon spent in a great place so back to the lodge for some dinner
and some more nature

Sunshine , wildlife , coffee, and music

Had a morning down at the Belper river Gardens to have a look at the peregrine falcons ,met a few friends down there while watching the peregrines ,
after feeding the female the male shot off for a fly round and hunt for some food , so time for a coffee withTerry and fiona ,
then it was a walk onto the gardens for some wild life, grey wagtail caught our eye
black headed gull
swan
mallard chilling out 
and as for the music we sat and listened to these ladies playing there instruments in the bandstand , thank you to these ladies for a great entertaining end to a great morning
