Bradgate park Leicester 

 A run out to Bradgate park ,Tuesday for Mike and me  anice run down the M1 took about 35 minutes and we there parked up and with in 5 minutes we where taking photos of this great place

 Anice easy climb up to the tower got there before the crowds started to arrive

then it was off to Swithland res to see another great view thanks to Chris Paul for showing us this 

 then it was off for a snack and coffee ant Newton Linford 

 then back down the M1 for home

Burbage  brook and beyond 

 Seen this place many a time so we decided it was time to pay it a visit  glad we did it didn't let us down lovely clouds rolled in as we was taking the photos 

 Mike Swain and my self  had a great morning once again turned out great

a bit nearer home this time

Stayed nearer home home this time with the camera ,Back garden session with the camera while having a mug of coffee in between jobs

Blue tit with feed for the young chicks in the nest box , luckily we have these returning every year great sight to see

 A busy time for mum and dad

tThen it was off into the trees at the bottom of the garden 

Starlings with there great coloured coats

And the little sparrow all having a bit odf sun  while i sat there in my chair having a lazy hour taking there photos

 Then a trip down to the local nature reserve for some photos

The local nature reserve where i like to go for Dragon flies  and insects 

A lovely path to walk down in the early mornings when the suns shining 

  Then it was a night out into Ambergate woods for the bluebells catching the last of the sun light coming through the trees 

though this would make a nice photo sun lit fern

Return to the peaks 

Went back up the peaks to Higger  Tor on Thursday morning with my friend Mike Swain for a session on the top of Higger Tor , 

Still a bit of a haze but it was great in the sun out of the wind

Had to take this one Mike taking in the view and you've got to agree what a view

a trip up the peaks 

Had a ride up the peaks this morning first stop was Carl Wark ,a few photos then a quick retreat to the car as the mist was moving in

 

It was a quick call at outdoors for a coffee then home 

morning with the wild life,

Sun shine ,morning , what to do landscape or wildlife ,

   Wildlife won

 This is what i wanted to photograph , but they wasn't going to play this morning 

 bit to far out in the lake so it was just lie there and wait 

but theres always some think going off ,

  clean up time 

lovely birds, he was watching me 

 coot lovely red eyes 

having a tidy up but keeping a eye on me 

coot chick enjoying the sun ,

 Then it was off to some think i spotted yesterday and thought another day so shot off to take this blossom which i spotted 

a nice colour amongst the grave stones

DERBYSHIRE SUNSETS

It was trips out at Night for the sun sets as I've been busy for two days decorating 

 Over looking Crich stand ,taken from just below where i live in Ripley, just caught  the after glow 

just caught the lights in Crich being switched on 

Following night it was down to Butterly res Ripley for the sunset

used a 6 stop nisi filter for this and a nisi rev nd grad filter for this one

 had a great night down here with my son Simon passed a hour away showing him how the various filters work ,, after spending two days stripping wall paper off the walls it was great to get out

A MORNING WITH PEREGRINE 

Had a change from landscape this morning Tuesday dusted the canon500mm f4 off and went off down to belper for a morning with the peregrines what a great morning nice to meet all the crowd which appear evert year at this time to see these great birds there a sight to see with there flying and hunting skills fast and dangerous

built for speed and deadly 

 Also a nice surprise was this oyster catcher down there today

A WEEKEND IN RUTLAND 

 40TH birthday week end over in Rutland ,had a week end in OAKHAM  near to Rutland res what a place log cabin 3 bedrooms chill out week end Nicolas birthday arrived Friday night saw the sunset over the fields 

 Rutland sunset from the lodge 

Next morning a walk in the woods among the bluebells 

what a sight and smell of these lovely wild flowers 

 The birthday girl with Mark and Murphy 

 Nicolas sister Paula with hubby, Paul ,son Harvey and Nile 

 Next day Sunday these three rode round Rutland res on there bikes 

then it was out into the open with sight of the water

 Bit of a storm brewing so it was back to the lodge for coffee and a snack before a meal at one of the local pubs near by which was the Black bull can recommend it 

Got back to the lodge to see these great clouds over towards Oakham 

Next morning a trip into Oakham and coffee and dinner 

 got back and i loaded up and shot off to Normanton church always wanted to take a photo of it ,It looks great just standing in the water 

then back to the lodge to pack and get ready for the trip home but not before one last sunset 

Sunday night sun set Rutland great week had by all
