A nice cloudy sky above the hall
Then a trip up to the hall but on my way up there a couple of things caught my eye ,

saw these lines going up to the wood

then this lone poppy caught my eye this was just asking for a photo

and then there was more

afternoon staying local

looked like it was going to be a good afternoon so headed out to some local
places ,Started of up the Chevin up at Farna green last time i was up there must have been 60 odd yeas ago carrying a bottle of fizzy pop and some bread and jam sandwiches in a brown paper bag thats when we where young and days out exploring woods and fields
bought back a few memories walking up there , Dad use to tell me Dick Turpin the highwayman used to ride is horse up there is ghost used to be seen at nights , we never stayed to see
looks a great place for wild life and insects i reckon another visit is called for
, then it was off for ride out to see some more places which could come in useful for some photos later on in the year
Of course i finished up at Alport heights for the clouds
great place as always but some idiots have been spraying there names in paint round the bottom next time i go up there I'm taking some stone cleaner up , all these years i have been going up there never seen this happen
then stopped on the way down to Belper for a shot of Crich stand
aquick stop in my friend the farmers field and a chat with him to see if i can use is field for some night photos ,no problem
then down to the river gardens at Belper

then it was off home

a day out at the dams

had a day out up at the dams Thursday ,picked Mike up at 8-30 and had a great ride up to the dams we could great clouds forming as we got nearer to our destination ,Instead of stopping of at the plug holes we decided to go up to the top and work our way back to fairholmes for coffee and snacks

we where surprised how low the water was after all the rain we had come down in the last month
looking up to the start of the dams

Then it was down to fairholmes for a coffee and a cob
Which turned out for a disaster for me ,Having a coffee sitting on the wall by the snack bar enjoying my sausage cob two bites then bang the dam ducks knicked it out of my hand , So finished my coffee after having a curse at them
and we decided to walk over to the other side and take some photos of the towers

 mono of the towers
