Things don't go to plan , but still had a great day

Had a ride out with my mate Alan to look at a place he had heard about ,But things don't always go to plan but had a great morning 

had a call in at Hardwick lake on the way back

great day for it

then spotted this tree , thanks Alan 

A lone tree stands alone , makes a great photo

Snowdrops and grave stones 

Started out a dull morning and rain as i made my way to Annersly church in Notts this morning but as i arrived the sun came out 

The first view of the church as i arrived , what a place 

Up the path to the church yard ,

Snow drops every where 

love these old buildings 

that much to photograph i could have stopped there all day 

Theres some think about old grave stones and old churches 

History and mystery 

another visit is called for be great at night with the moon and stars out 

and of course had to have one last photo of these snowdrops 

  what great morning , and yes another trip so much more to photograph 

 so all take care

WATER ,WATER EVERY WHERE

had a quick walk round the mill buildings while i was down there 

then next stop was Allerstree lake 

spent 10 minutes having a look round for some ideas  down here ?

   Next stop Belper weir and mill

 Belper milland weir River Derwent , Jackie Allan just reminded me  she mentioned when she worked at the east mill and had to come out of work to shift her car out of the car park paddling to get to it ,the water was coming through the railings thats some water coming down the Derwent 

a bit of mono for a change

All ways a great place for photos down here

A trip down to Darley Abbey weir this afternoon for some water shots,

 A fair bit of water coming over the weir at Darley

while i was there had a walk round the old mill buildings 

Then stopped off at Allestree lake for a photo two

Next stop Belper weir 

can remember when this was coming over the bridge many years ago 

 as Jackie Allan reminded me , nice one Jackie

all ways a good place for some photos down here, all so had news the Peregrines where seen mating down on the mill

Snowy fields in Ripley

Had a walk up my local fields in Ripley,Sunday afternoon for some snow photos ,so got well wrapped up ,

always a nice walk up here even in the bad weather took some scraps up for the foxes up there didn't see any about which i usually  do but not today but plenty of signs they'd been about and a few more tracks of wildlife,

a lone tree which is great for sunset shots 

storm damage , this came down in the storm used to take photos of the moon in its branches but no more 

another one of my favourite place for a photo in the sun set , but not today

just taken this and the rain started so it was back to home and a coffee 

 but enjoyed the walk and try the Olympus out in the snow

MAPPERLEY AND STRAWS BRIDGE, ON A COLD MORNING ,

It was a cold morning down at the Mapperley res this morning , cold wind gloves and hat morning , that was the first call 

Mapperley lake 

then it was visit to Straws bridge for some wild life photos ,

Nice clouds coming in over the trees across the lake

sun was showing the colours up 

up and away

Scarper hes here with that with that camera again
