A cold and frosty morning at the Magpie mine
Thursday morning Mike Swain and my self had a ride up to Sheldon above Bakewell to visit the Magpie mine which was a lead mine which stopped working in the 1950s ,
A very cold and frosty morning we had been thereabout 10 minutes and our fingers where frozen , that cold i couldn't get stuff out of my camera bag as there was no feeling in my fingers ,
But no gain with out gain as they say but it was worth it
there so much prospects for taking photos up there
Just lately i seem to like working in mono just some thing about it
Full view of the Magpie mine , very bleak up there the sun was shinning but frost was all around us , the water in the puddles was frozen i think the weather beat us in the end
Had a great couple of hours up there , Then it was off to find a cafe for a hot drink , and boy did we need one
thanks for viewing my blog
till next time take care
