A morning with Bess of Hardwick

A nice cloudy sky ,so it was a trip up the M1 to Hardwick hall , been thinking of going here for some time so first stop was the lake down in the park below the hall

A nice cloudy sky above the hall 

   Then a trip up to the hall but on my way up there a couple of things caught my eye , 

saw these lines going up to the wood 

then this lone poppy caught my eye this was just asking for a photo

and then there was more

looking of the approach road to the car park 

Hardwick Hall , What a sight to see

then it was a stroll round the gardens

some great well kept gardens round the hall

lovely colour 

drying out stumps looks like another feature in the planning

stopped for one last shot on the way home
