sunsets and not so sunsets

Sun sets come and go , first time I've been to the local where i live for some time had one pint and came home a 5 minute walk on the way back looks at the sky and  thought its going to be one of those nights so went in grabbed my camera bag and off up the fields ,set up and there it was

over looking Alport heights rom Ripley one of my favourite spots

Just two shots thats all i had the chance to take but enjoyed it
The following night it was with the Derby tog squad at Elavaston castle organised by Dave Vowles,
Wasn't a great sky but it was still a great night meeting the crowd ,great people

Elvaston castle ,famous for Women in love starring Oliver Reed, Glenda Jackson  and Derby born Alan Bates , written by D.H.lawrence  , in fact i was working there when it was being filmed , i was working for the Derby corporation as street paver , and did meet the stars of the film

the Elvaston castle lake , full of wild life as we saw and heard while we where down there
there wasn't much of a sun set ,but the togs made up for it ,
thanks all for a great night
 NEXT MORNING
It was a trip up to Ilam hall for coffee but did know of a place where if the conditions are ok your guaranteed a good photo
Over looking Dove Dale on the way to Ilam
Pano of  the hills of Dove Dale
had a nice cup of coffee at the national trust cafe in the hall a great place tpo spend a couple of hours
