a walk along the Cleveland way,
Runswick bay to Staithes
A a weeks holiday in Italy , It was home for a week then off to this great little fishing village on the Yorkshire coast and what a place it wasRunswick Bay early morning
then it was back to the flat for breakfast , boots on sunscreen on the face arms, and legs and off on the Cleveland way,
a great walk we climbed up the hill on to the top of the bay to be treated by this view
after the hill it was a pretty straight forward walk
Port Mulgrave , disused fishing harbour used to be the hive of ironstone mining industry
Looking down on Staithes harbour from the Cleveland way, then it was down to the Crab&Lobster for a well earned pint of lager and some food i think we earned it ,after this a walk round the town
then it was back to the trail back to Runswick bay after saying good bye to Staithes was a nice town a great meal in the pub a a refreshing drink
Took a different path leading to the main track and spotted these horses
carried on till we hit this hill and what a climb
Heather was in the lead with Mark behind then Nicola and Murphy
a well deserved wrest for the Murphy he earned it and a nice drink of water
look back towards Staithes then carried on forward
Nearly there only a mile or so to go and a nice cool drink in the hotel at the top of the hill leading down into the bay
not far to go just down the holland where there
made it
a great walk but a hot one
Hope you enjoyed the walk with me ,
one thing i know this is one place i will be returning to
thanks for viewing and hope you enjoyed the blog
Take care all and keep cool
