Harbourough rocks

Yesterday afternoon found me at Harbourough rocks over looking Carsington water, Great place for sunsets but it wasn't sun shinning when i got there ,the rain started , heavy wind, it was a hold on to your tripod days in fact it was blowing me about ,
The clouds looked great rolling in, this is what i like about the peak district

Wind turbines you either love or hate them
Trying to get out of the wind was a problem then the rain started
 Carsington water in the distance
great scenes to be seen from up here
nice little monument to some one who loved it up here
Trigg point
Derbyshire and beyond

Nice hour or so spent up there certainly blew the cob webs away
was wet through when i got back to the car not from the rain but sweat it was a warm day and i had wrapped up for the cold and wind up there
any way hope you enjoyed my afternoon out with me up there
so till next time take care
