Straws Bridge , near Ilkeston,

Went up to Straws bridge to try the 40-150 .5.6 Zuiko lens out for the Olympus to get some practice in ,Second time i had used it and wanted to get some action shots of the gulls and ducks

it had to rain while i was there but sod it can't let the weather stop you
great these air brakes
splashing about
Thought this was a good capture , have you got a light boy , have you got a light
Think he wanted to get in the picture
Colourful they where getting fed by a old couple it wasn't bread it was seed he had a load of it in the boot of is car it appears he goes round to the ponds and lakes  feeding the wild life , well done
Heads down bottoms up ,get stuck in

its ok I've got my eye on you
And me as well ,i can see you
This chap was falling asleep standing up
As i made my back to the car i looked behind me and spotted the windmill which is a local landmark round here ,
i was pleased with the lens and the camera as well
 so it was back home
Many thanks for viewing my blog again
take care all , till next time
 Bye all
