Scotland part 1

Ben Nevis mountain range , from the Caledonian canal ,this was on the Monday we arrived in Fort William after leaving Derbyshire covered in snow with roads closed ,

on the way up to the great glen 

grave yard at the side of the canal , a nice place to be at rest

the great Glen , what a trip great scenery ,then it was off the boat and short ride to the commando memorial

a great monument to the soldiers who served in the commandos 

 this little dog was great photo to have 

Then it was off down to Fort William for a walk round

then a snack and a nice walk back to the Highland hotel above fort William

well that was the first day ,and what a day i wont bore you with a lot of writing for the next part of our holiday but more great scenes of this great country if you haven been come and see it
