a morning down bty the river Derwent 

spent a great morning down by the river Derwent Monday morning 

 Started at Cromford weir took quite a few photos there 

 plenty of wild life there as well and spent a few hours there with the fly rod some years ago 

 had a great hour  taking photos and listening to the sound of the river 

Then it was down to Cromford Bridge for a photo

rumour had it two brothers who built this bridge fell out of the design of the archers one wanted Gothic and the other wanted a more modern one so you se two gothic and one modern 

Then it was off to the Belper weir

Belpers famous horse shoe weir

 

  

 A great river with some great weirs on the way down to Derby and beyond
